Child growth and developmental screening and assessment are vital processes in identifying and addressing any potential developmental delays or concerns in children. Screening involves the use of standardized tools to evaluate various aspects of a child’s development, including physical, cognitive, emotional, and social milestones. Assessment goes deeper, providing a more thorough evaluation to determine the specific strengths and areas of need in a child’s development.
The goal of the assessment and screening is to early detect child growth and development problems so that intervention and support can be provided as quickly as possible. In Wangbi Child Center, our experienced pediatrician will identify the core causes & effects of child developmental delay. Children will be referred and introduced to relevant subspecialist. The treatment is tailored to your child’s needs and will be monitored.

Baby massage is a gentle, soothing practice that involves using hands to massage your baby’s skin and muscles. It is a time-honored tradition in many cultures and has been shown to have numerous benefits for both babies and parents. Baby massage is more than just a comforting ritual; it’s a therapeutic practice rooted in scientific principles. Research has shown that gentle touch triggers the release of oxytocin, a hormone often referred to as the “love hormone” or “bonding hormone.” Oxytocin promotes feelings of relaxation, trust, and attachment, fostering a deep sense of connection between parent and child. Additionally, massage stimulates the release of endorphins, the body’s natural painkillers, which can help soothe a baby’s discomfort and promote relaxation.
Vaccination, also known as immunization, is one of the most effective public health interventions in history. Vaccines work by stimulating the body’s immune system to produce antibodies against specific pathogens, such as viruses or bacteria, without causing the disease itself. By providing immunity to diseases that can cause serious illness, disability, and death, vaccines have played a crucial role in reducing the burden of infectious diseases and protecting individuals and communities worldwide.

- BCG
- Polio
